Mona Foma is a world reknown international arts festival centering around the remarkable Mona Museum in Hobart.
Megafun was engaged to deliver the production and technical services for the inaugral Mona Foma (Museum of New Art – Festival of Music and Art) event, including the opening of the Museum itself.
Working hand in hand with producers Andrew Bleby and Leigh Cumberlidge, Megafun went on to deliver three more Mona Foma Festivals, plus two Dark Mofo Festivals, an event developed around the winter solstice.
These Festivals are truly one of a kind and draw people from all over the world to their eclectic mix of performance, art and exhibitions.
Megafun retains a close relationship with these events providing advice, consultancy and support as the Festivals grow, develop and become a bedrock of the international Festival circuit.
