The Discovery Zone at the Australian War Memorial is a space designed to allow kids to interact with various elements of Australian war history.
Megafun was engaged by Mother’s Art, an exhibition fabrication and design company, to create a series of interactive and multimedia experiences that allowed kids to explore various conflicts.
Ranging from a submarine periscope with “live” moving eyepiece imagery, the operational controls of a “Huey” helicopter, an animated map of a peacekeeping mission, a “working” submarine radar and a pedal-powered film, through to rats running through WW1 trenches, these interactives are highly engaging and add to the level of discovery that the space offers.
